In this Timely Talk we chat with UK industry legends; Jayne Lewis-Orr, Charlotte Mensah, Josh Wood, Tom Chapman, and Timely CEO Ryan Baker about the impact COVID-19 has had on the UK hair industry, and what things will get better in our industry as a result of coronavirus.

ABOUT THE PANEL
Jayne Lewis-Orr is the Executive Director of the Professional Beauty Group. Jayne has worked in the hair and beauty industry for 30+ years and is actively involved in all aspects of the UK hairdressing industry. Jayne is a trustee of the Hair and Beauty Charity and VTCT, and sits on the Hair and Barber Council, Fellowship for British Hairdressing and Hair and Beauty Suppliers Association.
Charlotte Mensah is the UK’s leading authority on Afro textured hair and the owner and artistic director of the Hair Lounge salon in Notting Hill. Charlotte is the founder of product range Charlotte Mensah Manketti Oil, and is a British Beauty Council Advisory Board Member.
Josh Wood is the expert colourist and co-founder of home hair colour brand, Josh Wood Colour. Josh is the Global Colour Creative Director for Redken, he also sits on the Executive Board at the British Beauty Council.
Tom Chapman is an award winning barber turned documentary maker, author, public speaker and international educator. Tom is the Global Barber Director for professional haircare product Keune, and in July 2020, it was announced Tom had joined the British Beauty Council’s Advisory Board.
Ryan Baker is the co-founder and CEO of Timely, with 20 year’s experience in developing booking software for businesses. Over 30,000 professionals around the world are using Timely to organise and grow their appointments.
